Employment rates by citizenship

In 2016, Sweden's employment rates by citizenship increased by 1.1% compared to 2015, reaching 74.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 60.3%.

Sweden ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.9% (from 71.3% in 2011).
