Distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group

In 2021, Sweden's distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group increased by 0.6% compared to 2020, reaching 64.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 69.8%.

Sweden ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 0.5% (from 65.2% in 2016).
