In 2024, Sweden's at-risk-of-poverty rate for pensioners decreased by 23.8% compared to 2023, reaching 11.5.

Sweden accounts for 74.7% of the EU-27 total of 15.4.

Sweden ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 26.3% (from 15.6 in 2019).
