In 2025, the EU-27 figure for distribution of population by tenure status, type of household and income group was 68.5%.

Over the five years before that, the EU-27 aggregate moved 2.1% lower.

Across member states, Slovakia reported the highest value (93.8%, 2025) and Germany the lowest (47.2%, 2025) — a ratio of 2.0× between the two ends of the range.
