At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2006, Austria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.6% compared to 2005, reaching 11.0%.

Austria ranks 22nd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 22.2% (from 9.0% in 2001).
