Population structure indicators at national level

In 2019, Austria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2018, reaching 43.4.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.7.

Austria ranks 11th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 42.9 in 2014).
