Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2016, Austria's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.4% compared to 2015, reaching 42.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 40.7%.

Austria ranks 6th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.2% (from 42.2% in 2011).
