At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 12.5% compared to 2013, reaching 16.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.2%.

Belgium ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 25.5% (from 21.6% in 2009).
