At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2015, Belgium's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 6.0% compared to 2014, reaching 14.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Belgium ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 13.9% in 2010).
