In 2015, Germany's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 0.0% compared to 2014, reaching 15.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.0%.

Germany ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.7% (from 14.9% in 2010).
