Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Belgium's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 3.1% compared to 2020, reaching 13.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.6%.

Belgium ranks 17th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.2% (from 13.5% in 2016).
