Population structure indicators at national level

In 2020, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2019, reaching 41.8.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 43.9.

Belgium ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 41.4 in 2015).
