Population structure indicators at national level

In 2022, Belgium's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.2% compared to 2021, reaching 41.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 44.4.

Belgium ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.0% (from 41.5 in 2017).
