Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2008, Belgium's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.8% compared to 2007, reaching 45.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 39.4%.

Belgium ranks 2nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.7% (from 45.3% in 2003).
