Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2020, Belgium's employment rates by educational attainment level decreased by 0.2% compared to 2019, reaching 86.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 85.4%.

Belgium ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.9% (from 84.6% in 2015).
