Employment rates by educational attainment level

In 2021, Belgium's employment rates by educational attainment level increased by 0.8% compared to 2020, reaching 86.9%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 86.5%.

Belgium ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.0% (from 85.2% in 2016).
