In 2024, Belgium's persons aged 25-64 with at least upper secondary educational attainment level by sex increased by 0.7% compared to 2023, reaching 82.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 80.5%.

Belgium ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.2% (from 78.7% in 2019).
