At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2007, Bulgaria's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 19.6% compared to 2006, reaching 22.0%.

Bulgaria ranks 2nd out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 57.1% (from 14.0% in 2002).
