Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.3% compared to 2020, reaching 14.8%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.6%.

Bulgaria ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 3.9% (from 15.4% in 2016).
