Population structure indicators at national level

In 1999, Bulgaria's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 1998, reaching 38.9.

Bulgaria ranks 4th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.9% (from 37.8 in 1994).
