Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.3% compared to 2020, reaching 8.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.1%.

Bulgaria ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.3% (from 7.7% in 2016).
