Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2019, Bulgaria's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 2.4% compared to 2018, reaching 30.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.8%.

Bulgaria ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.4% (from 28.2% in 2014).
