Bulgaria accounts for 181.9% of the EU-27 total of 16.6.

Bulgaria ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 33.6% (from 22.6 in 2016).
