Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 1997, Bulgaria's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments decreased by 13.3% compared to 1996, reaching 8,501,641.

Bulgaria ranks 19th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 30.1% (from 12,157,168 in 1992).
