Nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments

In 1998, Bulgaria's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments increased by 1.6% compared to 1997, reaching 8,634,792.

Bulgaria ranks 21st out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 32.1% (from 12,711,442 in 1993).
