Population change - Demographic balance and crude rates at national level

In 2008, Croatia's population change increased by 4.1% compared to 2007, reaching 10.1.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.6.

Croatia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 9.8% (from 9.2 in 2003).
