In 2021, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 25.6% compared to 2020, reaching 1,297.

Croatia ranks 13th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 23.8% (from 1,703 in 2016).
