Government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data

In 2014, Croatia's government deficit/surplus, debt and associated data increased by 4.7% compared to 2013, reaching 83.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 86.9%.

Croatia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 73.7% (from 47.9% in 2009).
