Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1989, Croatia's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.3% compared to 1988, reaching 2,454,827.

Croatia ranks 17th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.9% (from 2,409,164 in 1984).
