In 2023, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category increased by 1.2% compared to 2022, reaching 7,245.

Croatia ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 33.6% (from 10,906 in 2018).
