In 2022, Croatia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 5.8% compared to 2021, reaching 7,156.

Croatia ranks 15th out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 44.2% (from 12,821 in 2017).
