In 2007, Croatia's nights spent at tourist accommodation establishments increased by 2.6% compared to 2006, reaching 38,318,838.

Croatia ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.6% (from 34,346,675 in 2002).
