Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.5% compared to 2020, reaching 13.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 13.6%.

Cyprus ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.1% (from 14.9% in 2016).
