In 2014, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 9.1% compared to 2013, reaching 10.

Cyprus ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 47.4% (from 19 in 2009).
