In 2016, Cyprus's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 8.3% compared to 2015, reaching 11.

Cyprus ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 37.5% (from 8 in 2011).
