Population on 1 January by age group and sex

In 1989, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age group and sex increased by 3.9% compared to 1988, reaching 12,513.

Cyprus ranks 22nd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.6% (from 10,289 in 1984).
