Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1970, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.7% compared to 1969, reaching 310,000.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 24 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.0% (from 298,200 in 1965).
