Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1981, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 1.3% compared to 1980, reaching 258,200.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 249,168 in 1976).
