Population on 1 January by age and sex

In 1969, Cyprus's population on 1 january by age and sex increased by 0.8% compared to 1968, reaching 606,800.

Cyprus ranks 24th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 585,500 in 1964).
