Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2013, Cyprus's share of energy from renewable sources stood at 1.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 6.1%.

Cyprus ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 41.3% (from 1.9% in 2008).
