Share of energy from renewable sources

In 2024, the EU-27 figure for share of energy from renewable sources was 25.2%.

That is a 2.7% rose versus 2023 (24.6%).

Over the five years before that, the EU-27 aggregate moved 26.9% higher.

Across member states, Sweden reported the highest value (62.8%, 2024) and Belgium the lowest (14.3%, 2024) — a ratio of 4.4× between the two ends of the range.
