Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2021, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.1% compared to 2020, reaching 12.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 14.1%.

Cyprus ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.8% (from 10.1% in 2016).
