Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2009, Cyprus's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 6.9% compared to 2008, reaching 33.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.0%.

Cyprus ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.6% (from 31.5% in 2004).
