In 2024, Cyprus's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 10.3% compared to 2023, reaching 25.7.

Cyprus accounts for 156.7% of the EU-27 total of 16.4.

Cyprus ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 16.8% (from 22.0 in 2019).
