In 2024, Latvia's at-risk-of-poverty rate of older people by detailed age group increased by 0.5% compared to 2023, reaching 37.1.

Latvia accounts for 226.2% of the EU-27 total of 16.4.

Latvia ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 13.5% (from 42.9 in 2019).
