In 2024, Cyprus's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status decreased by 3.9% compared to 2023, reaching 7.30.

Cyprus accounts for 89.0% of the EU-27 total of 8.20.

Cyprus ranks 18th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.4% (from 6.80 in 2019).
