In 2024, Cyprus's persons aged 25-64 with at least upper secondary educational attainment level by sex decreased by 0.1% compared to 2023, reaching 86.1%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 80.5%.

Cyprus ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.6% (from 82.3% in 2019).
