At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 3.9% compared to 2022, reaching 9.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Czechia ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.1% (from 9.6% in 2018).
