At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2023, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 2.2% compared to 2022, reaching 14.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Poland ranks 19th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 5.4% (from 14.8% in 2018).
