At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2020, Czechia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 0.9% compared to 2019, reaching 11.1%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.4%.

Czechia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 24.5% (from 14.7% in 2015).
